I attend Occidental College, where I am a both a cognitive science major and classical studies major with a focus in Ancient Greek language. I've been intrigued with writing and publishing since the bud of my professional career. Though most of my experience is with community outreach through marketing and social media for nonprofits like Planned Parenthood and Oxy Financial Aid, I am passionate about the impact one can make through writing and publishing. My studies have provided me the opportunity to participate in various independent research projects, where I often focus on the philosophical nature of musicians and bands. I hope to participate in an upcoming undergraduate research project concerning the relationship between literacy and morality, beginning with its roots in Ancient Greece. In my free time, I like to partake in the Los Angeles and Austin music scenes, read ridiculously large books, tend to my ever-growing succulent collection, and take long scenic hikes with family and friends.
